Flightcases made in Germany

ProCase offers an extensive range of flight cases for professional hire companies, system houses, equipment manufacturers and users. The manufacturer, with headquarters near Frankfurt/Main, produces products on two sites in Germany and is regarded as one of the leading manufacturers of flight cases in Europe. B2B customers can not only order their requirements from the range offered in the catalogue through a modern online store, but also ProCase offers a custom-made order service to suit every requirement. The producer is at the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam this year for the first time.

Innovative Customising

According to information from the company, ProCase has a large experience in packing broadcast technology equipment and has supplied the German radio and TV institutions for many years. What makes ProCase’s packing concept special is the combination of protection of the contents together with function. It is about more than just safe transport. For operational purposes the equipment should be able to be used if possible directly from the transport box with just a few manual operations. This saves the user time and money during their daily work.

19 Inch Stack-Racks

The ProCase 19 inch stack-racks, one of the most popular systems for building in 19” standard equipment, can also be seen at the exhibition. These are modular 19” flight case racks which can be firmly joined together using concealed latches. The rack units are fitted with IT compatible rack rails and which are also fitted with vibration dampers. This is especially important for an enormous range of sensitive electronic equipment such as AV recorders, intercom systems or transmission paths.

Screen FlexCases

Screen Flexcases is the name for the universal flight cases for transporting flat screens. Should a new screen be required then the fixings for the screen in the case itself can be simply reinserted. For this purpose ProCase uses a simple but effective principle in which the screen is held by two adjustable rails. This gives the advantage that by using additional fixing rails two or three screens can be easily transported together and makes the cases extremely flexible in use. The screen sizes of the FlexCases are suitable for the current trend of TV formats and offer an interior dimension matching the 16:9 width to height relationship, with the addition of a few centimetres extra in the height. These few centimetres extra in height makes possible transportation of consumer equipment with sound bars or feet.

The dimensions for ScreenFlex case sizes are given by the outside width. Here a size-chart on the website is helpful in choosing the correct case size. The largest ScreenFlex case of the current series offers room for a 75” screen.

Custom-fit Foam Linings

In order to safely transport and efficiently organise equipment and parts in the case or in 19” drawer units, foam linings are needed. For this purpose ProCase uses rigid foam which is machined using CNC techniques. The equipment sits snugly in its lining and looks as good as new even after many journeys. Additionally, the user has the advantage of the security of knowing with just a glance if everything is complete. This is especially important when equipment is rented out.

ProCase cases are extremely robust and can be supplied in more than 20 different colours. B2B customers have the opportunity of configuring and ordering racks and flight cases online at www.procaseshop.de
